Solar Panels!

Sorry it has taken me so long to keep you updated on recent happenings from Goro; with my imminent departure (give or take a few months) my mind has been full of too many things. But your donations and gifts were not in vain, because solar panels have been installed and the clinic has electricity!! The freezer is semi-working on the solar power, because it sucks up way too much energy; I'm working on remedying the situation. But the staff are very happy with having electricity at night when they have all those deliveries or medical emergencies. We actually had a big "inauguration" party on May 22nd to celebrate, with lots of dignitaries from Bamako and Kita coming in for the day, and speeches from everyone involved (including yours truly). I promise photos and more news updates will be coming in the next few weeks, just please have patience with me.
